ASHLEY WRIGHT (she/her) LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas, North Carolina, and Kentucky. My primary focus includes trauma-informed counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy for adolescents, young adults and military service members. I also offer in-person play therapy for children ages 3-12 in Kentucky.
After obtaining my Masters degree in 2013, I worked as a therapist in a private school for two years and a psychiatric hospital for 1.5 years. In 2019, after noticing the need for more therapists in my area, I decided to move into the private practice world. I am two years into obtaining the training and consultations required to become a Registered Play Therapist and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I strongly believe in creating and maintaining a non-judgmental setting where my clients feel comfortable speaking with me without fear of what I may think. My belief is that my clients know where they want to go and when they want to get there. I am simply here to provide guidance and directions.

My name is Katie and I have a bachelors and master’s in psychology and am currently attending a graduate program at North Central University to obtain my Marriage and Family Therapy license. I am a certified addictions counselor and a certified trauma professional with the state of Colorado. I often lean towards CBT, DBT, MI, and SFT modalities in my sessions with a client centered, strength based approach.
I am currently licensed to practice in Colorado and am working diligently to become licensed in Texas. I serve adolescents and adult population and all of my sessions will be via telehealth. I specialize in working with those struggling to resolve past or current trauma, and people who are struggling with substance using behaviors. I am a collaborative clinician who will actively listen to your needs and what you’re hoping to achieve in our time together. I am here not to judge you or criticize you, but to meet you where you are and support your journey to living a life you truly enjoy.
