Ethics in the Counseling Practice with an Emphasis on Working with Minor Clients is a 1-hour self-paced home study CEU designed for Texas LPCs and LPC Associates. This course reviews core Texas ethical requirements related to informed consent, assent, parental rights, confidentiality, documentation, records access, boundaries, required reporting, and ethical decision-making when counseling children and adolescents. Because Texas requires licensees to obtain at least 50% of CE hours from qualifying providers, this course is intended to meet that requirement when offered by Ashley Wright, LPC-S, RPT.
