Anxiety and Trauma Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds don’t just disappear. They sneak into daily life and make things feel heavier, even when nothing seems wrong. I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are ready to heal, slow down, and regain a sense of calm and control.

Having navigated my own healing journey, I bring both heart and skill to our work together. Many clients I support grew up being the “strong one” or the fixer, carrying feelings that were overlooked or dismissed. Therapy with me is warm, honest, and collaborative. Together, we create space for you to be messy, emotional, and fully worthy without the pressure to “get it right.”

I specialize in supporting people coping with anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, and the challenges of perfectionism, overthinking, or people-pleasing. My trauma-informed approach is practical and flexible, creating a safe and welcoming space for clients of all neurotypes, and tailored to your pace and needs.

It’s okay if it’s messy. We will work through it together. Step by step, we create space for clarity, calm, and connection.

How I Help

I blend evidence-based therapy with a trauma-informed lens. Sessions may include:

  • EMDR therapy to process difficult or stuck memories

  • Parts Work to connect with and understand different parts of yourself

  • Somatic techniques to release tension and stress held in the body

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns

And yes, we sometimes laugh, roll our eyes at anxiety, and celebrate small wins along the way. Therapy can be serious, but it can also be human, messy, and meaningful. Whether you are new to therapy or returning, we move at your pace and follow your lead to support your healing journey.

Who I Work With

  • Teens (12-17), young adults (18-25), and adults

  • People navigating anxiety, trauma, or low self-worth

  • Those healing from childhood emotional neglect or relational wounds

  • Neurodivergent clients or those seeking a neurodivergent-friendly space

  • Overachievers, perfectionists, and people-pleasers learning to set boundaries

  • BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a safe and affirming space

Education and Credentials

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) in Texas, working under the supervision of Dr. José Luis Valenzuela, PhD, LPC-S. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling and have specialized training in EMDR and certification in Anxiety-Informed Treatment. These skills allow me to support clients in managing anxiety, trauma, and life’s challenges in a compassionate, practical way.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of sessions, I spend most of my time with my three dogs: Charlie, Ollie, and Teddy. My husband and I are happily outnumbered.

I love iced coffee no matter the season, getting lost in mystery and thriller novels, and rewatching Friends more often than I’d like to admit.

Oregon and the Pacific Northwest are my favorite places to unplug and feel grounded. I also enjoy exploring local coffee shops and finding little ways to slow down and recharge whenever I can.
